Nordisk Boreal Kapital was founded in 2022 in response to a clear need: companies that wanted to enter or grow in Nordic markets needed more than a fund. They needed someone who truly understood how business is done in Oslo, London and Valencia.

We are an operational extension of Vekts Lab specialised in the Scandinavian ecosystem. We invest between €200K and €3M in companies with a proven model looking to scale in Nordic markets — or in Nordic companies that want to expand into southern Europe.

What sets us apart: the Vekts Lab Oslo team is operationally involved in every investment. We are not just venture capitalists — we are partners who know the language, the regulation and the buyers.

Nordisk Boreal Kapital operates as a private investment vehicle with capital from the Vekts Lab founding team. We have no external LPs and no regulated fund structure. We invest as business angels with a long-term vision.

No investment committees, no bureaucratic processes. We decide fast because it's our own capital. We align completely with founder success — our interests are exactly the same.

Real operational Nordic network

We have a real presence in Oslo, Valencia and London. We are not a fund that invests from a distance — we are in the markets we invest in, with active contacts, clients and partners in the local ecosystem.
